Crisis: Betrayed by his daughter, ripped from his throne and facing loss beyond imagining, James II is in a desperate position. Left with only Ireland as a basis, which has grown increasingly lawless with Protestant militias being disbanded, James plans his revolt to retake what was his.
With Parliament having ordered an Irish expeditionary force in March, James has arrived in Ireland itself, ready to begin. Earlier today, Viscount Dundee has launched a Scottish rebellion.
William will struggle to retain his throne, as James will struggle to retake it. Espionage, military, politics and social change will intermingle in this complex period.
The fate of England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland hang in the balance, how will you shape them?

Zoe Braddick
Crisis Co-Director |
Zoe is delighted to be your Co-Director for Crisis! She is going into her final year of studying Politics and Economics.
Over the last eight years, MUN has been an extremely important part of her life as she has had the opportunity to attend conferences both nationally and internationally. While her dedication and love for MUN was nurtured on the school and college circuit, university style MUN has quickly grown into a passion and she has been lucky enough to attend conferences such Malaysia and Uzbekistan, experiences which are not quickly forgotten. Outside of MUN you will often find her debating on the most random topics, or deafening her neighbours with her habit of singing Opera and other forms of long outdated classical music. She looks forward to meeting you all in February! |
